I am often asked how to pay tickets received in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Tickets issued by the State Police or Plaquemine’s Parish Sheriff’s Office are heard before the judges in Belle Chasse, Louisiana at the 25th Judicial District Court. After referring many people to the clerk’s office for the answer, I finally called myself. Here are your choices.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, there are three options for payment:
You can go to the Criminal Records Dept. of the Sheriff’s office. Their address is 300 Main Street, Suite A in Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037. Please call 504-934-6808, 504-934-6812, or 504-934-6810 for additional help.
You can mail a money order or cashier’s check to the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office to make your payment. The address is 300 Main Street, Suite A in Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037.

I recommend mailing the check with some kind of tracking number so you have proof the check arrived at the Sheriff’s Office.

Online payments for tickets in Belle Chasse require you to have your original court date, which is on the bottom of your traffic ticket, the ticket number, and to know the amount due.
Payment is not accepted over the phone in Plaquemines Parish.
