How to Pay Your Tickets in St Bernard

I am often asked how to pay tickets received in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. Tickets issued by the State Police or St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office are heard before the judges in Chalmette, Louisiana at the 34th Judicial District Court.  After referring many people to the clerk’s office for the answer, I finally called myself.  Below are your choices.

Paying for Speeding Tickets in Chalmette, Louisiana

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there are three options for payment:

You can go to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office Annex building.  The address is #2 Courthouse Square in Chalmette, Louisiana 70043.

They can be reached by phone at (504) 271-2504. The hours are Monday through Friday 9:30a-4:00p.

St. Bernard Parish does not accept payment by mail.

Tickets issued by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office can be paid online at: https://www.ncourt.com/x-press/x-onlinepayments.aspx?juris=5dec70b4-3b9d-4ef1-a5c2-dd8261a371c2.

Online payments for tickets in St. Bernard Parish require you to have your citation type, citation number, court date and the amount you owe.

*Please Note: If your ticket was issued by a State Trooper, payments cannot be made online.

To make a payment by phone, please call (877) 793-7141 Monday through Friday, 7a-9p and Saturday or Sunday 9a-6p EST. Once you have submitted your payment, you will receive an e-mail letting you know if the court has accepted or rejected your payment.

Always remember to include your ticket number on your check.  The ticket number is the best way for the Clerk’s Office to know which ticket to apply your payment to.
