In 29th Judicial District Court for the Parish of St. Charles, many tickets are reduced to non-moving violations so they are not reported to your driving record. When I write my clients to tell them the results of their case, they almost always ask me “How do I pay my ticket in St. Charles?” In order to help clients pay their fines, fees, and court costs, I called the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s office in order to explain your options:
How to Pay your Traffic Ticket in St. Charles Parish
Payment for Traffic Tickets in Hahnville, Louisiana
According to the Sheriff’s Office, there are three options for payment:
You can drive to the Bonds and Fines Department of the Sheriff’s Office to pay in person, which is located at 15025 River Road in Hahnville, Louisiana 70057. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday.
You can mail a money order or cashier’s check to Bonds and Fines Department.
The mailing address for Bonds and Fines Department of the Sheriff’s Office is:
Bonds and Fines Department
PO Box 426 Hahnville
I recommend mailing the check with a tracking number so you have proof the check arrived at the Sheriff’s Office.
Payment is not accepted over the phone in St. Charles Parish.
Always remember to include your ticket number on your check. The ticket number is the best way for the Clerk’s Office to know which ticket to apply your payment to.
